YOUR LEGACY MATTERS.

We serve discerning boat owners in coastal Maine who own and maintain classic wooden boats, small hand-built craft, or high-quality fiberglass vessels. Our clients value craftsmanship, tradition, and personal service—and are often underserved by larger, volume-focused marinas or repair yards.
At Stillman Marine, your legacy matters.

FRAMBOISE

FRAMBOISE is a 36' lobster yacht, built in 1952 by Robert Rich. She’s currently undergoing a full restoration, including new deck beams, floor timbers, steam-bent frames, bulkheads, Coosa board on the weather and cockpit decks, systems/electrical, fresh paint and varnish, and much more. This is a major project, and we’re honored to breathe new life into this classic wooden boat.

CINQUANTE

CINQUANTE, a finely-crafted rowboat built by Robert K. Lincoln. Brought to Stillman Marine for a full overhaul—fresh paint, brightwork, and careful attention stem to stern. She’s now shipshape and ready for many more seasons on the water.

SEAL & OARS

SEAL is a classic 10’ Newman rowboat, originally built on Great Cranberry Island. After spending some time on the rocks, she suffered damage to her keel along with several deep gouges in the topside paint.

We began the restoration by sanding out as much of the damage as possible, rebuilding the keel with fresh fiberglass, and carefully filling and fairing the remaining dings on the topsides. With several coats of primer and paint, we were able to bring her back to life—looking as good as new.

Her oars, a pair of classic Shaw & Tenney, also needed attention. After fully stripping them down and applying eight coats of varnish, they’re now restored and ready for many more seasons on the water.

OPEECHEE

OPEECHEE, an 18-foot skiff built by local students in Downeast Maine, was damaged after getting caught on the wrong side of a gangway while docked. She came into Stillman Marine for a few repairs, along with fresh paint and varnish.

ALLEGRO

ALLEGRO, an electric-powered launch with a glass-over-wood hull, came into Stillman Marine for a fresh paint job, minor repairs, and a battery charger upgrade.
